Mechanical Service International's role would include:
- Providing the manufacturer with a regional presence and office in the Asia Pacific/Far East region.
- Coordinating and managing existing sales representatives within the region.
- Establishing new agents and/or sub-agents within the territory as well as direct sales and marketing activities.
- Opening new territories and markets.
- Generating, coordinating, and managing all sales and marketing activities in the designated territory, as well as on specific assignments.
- Interfacing with the proposal and contracts group on pre and post proposal sales.
- Managing and directing the international sales representative organization within the territory.
- Acting on behalf of and for the manufacturer within the territory and as directed for other specific assignments.
- Handling customer relations, and assisting in regional customer service.
- Helping to coordinate localization and sub-contracting relationships, as required.
- Assisting in the establishment of business relationships, licensing, and joint ventures.
- Negotiating contracts, CLOSING ORDERS.
